A release from the Ghana police service has affirmed that calm has been restored at Okaikwei Central constituency in the Greater Accra Region after a misunderstanding.
“Calm has been restored at the Ansurudeen Islamic Basic school polling centre in the Okaikwei Central constituency, Accra following some misunderstanding and voting is proceeding smoothly,” the release said.
The Ghana Police Service has also urged the public to remain calm as the they are fully prepared to maintain law and order throughout the election process
