The Suame constituency youth organiser of National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koampa Razak Avoliya will reappear on Tuesday, February 14 after first hearing at the Asokwa Circuit court over an alleged political violence ahead of the 2024 general elections.
Prosecutor, ACP Kofi Blagodzie had prayed the court for more time to probe the case.
ACP Kofi Blagodzie argued that the release of Razak Avoliya might cause anarchy considering the magnitude of his hate speech.
The presiding judge, Fred Obikyere was convinced, despite the defense’s plea for bail application.

“I am talking as a lawyer and NDC member, we will not be intimidated” he told William Evans-Nkum,’ the lawyer for Koampa Razak Avoliya said after the first ruling.
The Police have arrested suspect Razak Avoliya the youth organiser for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Suame constituency of the Ashanti region following investigation into a viral video in which he incited political violence ahead of the 2024 general elections on Sunday when he granted a local media house interview during an event.
