The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC), Mrs Jean Mensa, has revealed that the Commission will hold an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting with all stakeholders on Thursday to brief them on Election Day activities ahead of the December 7 polls.
According to the Chairperson of the Commission, due to that, they will distribute electoral materials to all the 16 regions by Friday, November 20.
Mrs Jean Mensa continued that the commission has done with the printing of both the voter’s register and ballot papers.
In an interview with Daily Graphic, Mrs Jean Mensa revealed that all the political parties had received their copies of the voter’s register.
Mrs Jean Mensa affirmed that they have started dispatching the materials adding that Vehicles are in to send them and by Friday, November 20, 2020, all the regional offices will receive their electoral materials.
“The electoral materials comprise of ballot papers, the voter’s register, thumbprint pads, polling station booths, rechargeable lamps, indelible ink, voting screens, stationery, identification jackets, educational posters, seals and COVID-19 items such as Veronica buckets, sanitizers and tissues,” she added.
