The Unified Petroleum Fund Directorate has delivered a detailed presentation on how the Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS) functions and explained how electronic seal tampers are detected to address the concerns of the Bulk Road Vehicle Drivers.
The meeting was a result of the concerns raised by stakeholders; Ghana National Petroleum Tanker Drivers Union, Bulk Tanker Drivers Union, LPG Tanker Drivers Union, and GOIL Tanker Drivers Union, LPGMCs and Ghana LPG Operators Association (GLiPGOA).
This came to light during a meeting held at the National Petroleum Authority Head office.
Content with the explanations given, Stakeholders present at the forum assured the Authority of their partnership in ensuring the Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS) functions effectively and efficiently.
