Twenty-three (23) industries have been initiated in the Eastern Region so far under the One District One Factory program.
Out of the number, Eleven (11) factories have been completed and are operating.
Honorable Eric Kwakye Daffour who said this in Nation Building Update said the Factories operating currently in the Region are:

Maagrace Garment Industries Ltd., Koforidua
Akro Farms Limited, Apasare
Zuriel Carbon Products, New Abirem
Miracle Fruits Processing Ghana, Suhum
Prime Hold, Suhum
Chocho Industries Limited, Suhum
Happy Sunshine Company Ltd, Kyekyewere
Strongmen Foods and Farms Limited, Akuse
On Investment Drive, the Minister said the Region has Conducted two investment tours to Indaba Festival in South Africa, Received 3 investment Teams from South Africa, China, and Spain, Conducted two (2) Regional Trade and Exhibition Fairs and Three (3) Business Resource Centers (Kyebi, Atimpoku, and Kade) started in 2017 have been completed and put to use.
He said Four (4) others started in 2019 are at various completion stages.
The minister said NBSSI/EDAIF & CAPBUSS have expended ₵17.63m to support 16,759 MSMEs in the Region.
He said 2,318 youths have been given training in income generation skills.
