Chief Executive Officer of Techiman Eleven Wonders, Albert Yahaya Commey is expecting a tough Ghana Premier League season after matchday one.
The domestic top-flight league finally commenced over the weekend after several months of inactive football with some interesting results.
The Porcupine Warriors were held to a 1-1 draw by Eleven Wonders at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in their 2020/21Ghana Premier League opener.
However, according to Commey, the matchday one results of the GPL proves that the season will be difficult for all the clubs.
“This season will be very difficult because of the results from day one matches. Some of the results even surprised me. For Great Olympics to draw at Tarkwa against Medeama tells you cannot predict matches easily” he said after the game.
“I feel that we need to be very serious with all games and is not going to be different from what happened last year”
“But I tell you each of the teams must remain focus” he concluded.
