To help maintain the youth and the members in the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP Church) Ghana, the Women Ministry has called for unity among its members in the country.
With unity, the church believes it will represent an instrument to increase and grow its membership in Ghana.
EP Church Ghana in an innovative effort has determined to set up vocational centers to equip young congregants and others vulnerable with entrepreneurial skills to contribute to the growth of the church.
Celebrating the 40 years’ anniversary of the Women Ministry in the Eastern region, Prof. Smile Gavua Dzisi, a Strong Member and the Former Chancellor of Koforidua Technical University urged the Women Ministry to set up a strategic plan to enable women to contribute greatly to the growth of the church and the country.
Prof. Smile Gavua Dzisi said that with the plan the women ministry will achieve its target.
She pleaded with the politicians to be disciplined with their campaigns to help prevent violence as the country is approaching its general elections.
Mama Atrato II, the Queen Mother for Ho Dome of Asogli State on her part said that the celebration of the 40 years’ anniversary has bring women together for remarkable moment in the Eastern region
Mama Atrato II prayed for politicians for peaceful and smooth elections.
She urged the women to come together with one mind to empower each other socially and economically.
Many congregants and higher dignitaries joined the celebration of the 40 years’ anniversary of the women ministry in the region.
