Eric Yeboah Wadie, a prominent businessman and former parliamentary aspirant for the New Juaben South Constituency , has donated 20 motorcycles to the Eastern Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The donation is aimed at supporting the party’s campaign efforts ahead of the 2024 general elections.
The motorcycles are part of a broader appeal made by the regional NDC leadership for logistical support to help the party cover more ground in its outreach efforts leading up to the December 7 polls.
Presenting the motorcycles, Yeboah Wadie reiterated his commitment to the party, noting that the donation is just one of the many ways he supports the NDC.
He called on the business community to support the NDC to win power to reset the economy to create the enabling environment for business to thrive.
Yeboah Wadie, who also serves on the party’s finance committee, directed that three of the motorcycles be allocated to his home constituency, New Juaben South. The remaining 17 will be distributed across other constituencies in the region.
Receiving the donation, Eastern Regional NDC Chairman, Dr. Mark-Oliver Kevor, expressed his gratitude, urging other party members to follow Yeboah Wadie’s example.
Dr. Kevor also encouraged party members to work tirelessly in their communities to secure a decisive victory for the NDC in the upcoming elections.
