Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan has no qualms with Black Stars coach Chris Hughton after handing invite to FC Nordjaelland youngster Ernest Nuamah.
The 19-year-old was named among the 24 players released last week by the former Premier League manager after a stellar display in the just ended season.
In an interview with Asempa FM, the all-time top scorer of the Black Stars described Nuamah’s invite as excellent.
“Ernest Nuamah’s call-up to the Black Stars is excellent because he is a good player.”
Nuamah capped an impressive season with 12 goals and 4 assists with FC Nordjaelland, who finished second in the top-flight.
The Black Stars new boy was voted for by the 12 coaches in the Danish League after a stellar campaign.
Before winning the Player of the Year prize, Nuamah had won the best Player of the Spring.
He is expected to join his Black Stars teammate for the continental qualifiers middle of this month.
