Former Asante Kotoko star Godwin Ablordey believes Ghana star Sulley Muntari will have a huge impact on the Ghana Premier League.
The 37-year-old made a return to the domestic top-flight signing a one-year deal with Hearts of Oak and has since featured 4 times in the ongoing league season.
In an interview with Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Ablordey, who had stints with both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak lauded his return as he believes he will have a positive impact on the Ghana Premier League.
“Sulley Muntari is an experienced player, he is a motivator and it is about time we encourage players of such caliber to participate in our league so the young ones can tap something from them,” he said.
“During our time, we had the opportunity to play with big players and it impacted our career. So, I believe he will have a positive impact on the Ghana Premier League” he said.
Muntari has had spells with Italian giants, Inter and AC Milan, and other clubs in Europe.
