An explosion at the Akyem Tafo bulk supply point of the Electricity Company of Ghana on Monday has caused a power outage in parts of the Eastern Region.
“The Electricity Company of Ghana wishes to inform its cherished customers in the underlisted areas that the interruption in the power supply is as a result of an explosion at our Tafo Bulk Supply Point.
Tafo, Koforidua, Suhum, Begoro, Kibi, Asesewa, Osino, Anyinam and surrounding towns.
Affected customers should please note that our engineers are working assiduously to restore supply. The inconvenience caused is deeply regretted “. A statement by ECG said.
