Fear and panic grips Mpraeso Senior High School students and staffs in the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region as nine students in isolation after suspected coronavirus infection.
Mybrytfmonline.com understands that the school has recorded nine suspected cases of the virus and is awaiting test results.
“They have been isolated from the rest of the students and their samples have been taken [as of Tuesday]. All the samples were sent to Accra for confirmation,” the Kwahu South Director of Education, Ofosu Kwakye, revealed.
“We are waiting for the lab result to come so we know the situation,” he added.
He said measures have been taken to assure the rest of the students of their safety.
The isolated students are also getting improved attention.
He added that their food has been enhanced, where gives them fruits and other things as they await the results.
