The Koforidua Area Head of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Samuel Osei Asante has said fear among many Christians that going to Church could lead to contracting Coronavirus is from the devil.
According to Apostle S. O. Asante, he could not fathom out why some Christians attend events, go to congested market centers, and another social gathering where the preventive etiquettes are not fully observed yet fear to attend Church despite comprehensive measures rolled out to ensure strict compliance to Covid-19 preventive protocols.
He believes, this fear mindset is satanic ostensibly to keep away Christians from congregating to worship their maker.
He urged Christians to rise to overcome this widespread monophobia attack on the Church and develop unwavering faith in God for spiritual protection while observing the preventive measures for Physical protection.
“We are praying that God’s grace will continue to be with us and guide us to continue to keep the protocols and at the same time worship God in Spirit and truth, and the whole heart.”
