Speaking at a Wassa Saah Community centre during community visitation, he shoved the traditional authorities to volunteer and help the fight against the menace.
“I will undertake the permissiveness of our chiefs and elders to embroil themselves in the fight against galamsey. Seemingly, without your backing, we cannot do it since you are the immediate people who see whatever is going on in the societies, so we should not quit until we have won,” he expressed.
He again declared to touch every community within the Municipality, perhaps the establishment of agenda hundred boreholes for the communities, donation of fifty bags of cement in relief of the Saah Community centre and others.
The MCE likewise reiterated the NPP government’s pledge to give proper roads to Ghanaians, essentially for the people within the Municipality.
“I can confidently estimate the NPP government has constructed more roads than any government in Ghana. Even within the Municipality, we have about 200kilometers of roads under construction. The Saah road will be transformed to give it a nice shape for easy accessibility. We have beefed up security to tackle robbery cases within the Municipality. I will urge everyone to remain impassive since this Npp government will do all it could to ensure Ghanaians live harmlessly,” he confessed.
