Ghana National Fire Service swift intervention halted a potential devastating inferno at the Ayipa Wood Processing Company in Feyiase, located near Begoro, Eastern Region.
The Begoro Fire Station received a frantic call alerting them to the fire outbreak at the Ayipa Wood Processing Company around 3:58pm.

Without hesitation, a dedicated crew was dispatched, arriving at the scene by 4:33pm.
The firefighters sprang into action, battling the blaze with remarkable efficiency.
Through their valiant efforts, the fire was fully extinguished at 6:00pm.

The swift and coordinated response of the fire crew ensured the preservation of vital assets within the facility.
Four wood processing machines, along with processed timber and a forklift machine, were successfully salvaged, preventing significant financial loss and potential harm to personnel.
