Delegation from the Aqua biotech Group were at the Ghana TVET Service Headquarters to meet the Director General, Mawusi Nudekor Awity.
Discussions at the meeting centered on collaboration on Skills for Job Project in Acquaculture.
According to George Uantos, Director for Aqua biotech Group, the project will train especially Ghanaian Youth in Fish Farming, the use of innovative equipments for aquatic and marine life, Understand the importance of the ocean, it’s sustainability and impact on human life among others.
Aqua BioTech Group is a global consulting and engineering company with over 20 years of experience in aquaculture, fisheries and other aquatic sciences.
The Director General in a brief submission said there is a great potential and great opportunities in Acquaculture Training, Development and Value Chain.
The Director General made a passionate appeal to the Director for Aqua biotech to ensure Gender responsive approach to the program especially women in fish Farming and not only in fish monging.
In Attendance were the Deputy Director General Operations, Mr David Prah, Deputy Director General Management Services, Ms Lily Djima and Head of Corporate Affairs Enoch Amegbletor and Evy Copejens from EMSEA.
