A 5 -bedroom self-contained house has been gutted by fire at Abetifi in Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region.
The fire incident occurred on February 3, 2021, at about 12:30 pm. It took the intervention of Fire Service personnel to douse the fire which had already caused devastation and consumed many household properties.
The cause of the fire is not known.
According to the landlady Madam Ofosua Helina, nine (9) occupants in the house have been displaced as a result of the fire incident.
No casualty recorded.
Officials of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) have visited the scene for assessment.
