Five Communities have flooded in Kwahu West Municipality in the Eastern Region after torrential rainfall.
The flash floods occurred on July 14, 2021, after 24 hours of downpour.
The affected Communities are Ayigbe Town, Abrodiem, New Station, Asuogya, and Domeabra.
Dozens of residents were displaced. Many household properties were destroyed.
Fortunately, no casualty was recorded.

Officials of the National Disaster Management Organization were in the communities for assessment to facilitate distribution of relief albeit shortage of relief items at the Municipal level.
