Five persons are reportedly dead in a fatal crash involving a trailer truck fully loaded with bags of cement on Kwahu Kotoso road in Eatern region.
According to the Kwahu South Municipal Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Sylvia Apoya, the crash occurred around 6:14 a.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026, the trailer repprtedly failed break.
The truck sormersaulted multiple times before crash-landing ,killing all five passengers mostly loading boys aboard the vehicle but the driver sustained life threatening injuries hence admitted at the Kwahu Government hospital.
The victims were indegenes of Kwahu Obomeng and Mpraeso.
The Ghana Police Serrvice and Ghana National Fire Service who embarked on rescue mission after the crash are investigating the accident.
