A former National Democratic Congress constituency Chairman of the Lower West Akyem has advised all party faithfuls who will be contesting for the parliamentary slot to be focus on their visions than to tarnish the image of their competitors.
Speaking to the media, Chairman Abdul Jelilu indicated that there is no permanent enemies or friends when it comes to politics and that, it shall be more important to consider avoiding personal attacks on individuals.
The former chairman again pleaded with fellow Akatamansonians to consider President John Dramani Mahama for another slot to lead the 2024 Presidential elections due to his track record.
He stressed the the former President is above every other candidate and has best experience to save Ghanaians from the current hardships under the New Patriotic Party led Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo.
Hon. Abdul Jelilu therefore registered his displeasure at Asawase lawmaker Hon. Mutaka Mubarak attack on the party’s leadership and warned him to desist from his selfish interest against the NDC national leadership.
He urged all party supporters to work hard and support parliamentary candidates and the flagbearer who are yet to be elected.
