The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has warned Ghanaians to desist from patronising Indomie instant chicken noodles with the inscription ‘Ladha Ya Kuku’.
According to a press statement issued and signed by Mrs Yvvone Nkrumah, DCEO, Cooperate Service Division on behalf of the CEO, it states that the product mentioned above is not registered in Ghana and therefore is seen as unwholesome for consumption.
The FDA revealed that only Indomie Instant noodle registered is produced locally and occasionally sourced from Nigeria.
However, it has assured Ghanaians that periodic post-market testing is also conducted to ensure only wholesome products are available on the market for public consumption.
