Ghanaians who have been trying to defend the vote-buying activity by the two major parties in the country NPP and NDC have been described as fools who do not want to seek for the progress of the country by the founder and leader of the United Progressive Party (UPP), Mr Akwesi Addai Odike.
“It is glaring, only a fool will try to deny and defend that the NPP and the NDC are practising vote-buying,” Mr Odike said.
He added that these political parties while in Government have been able to mobilize a huge sum of money.
Claiming that the UPP is far better and much more prepared to do more than what the previous government and the current one has done for Ghanaians all this while.
“Ghana is not democratically upright, we are practising commercial democracy, therefore we are not going for election in December 2020, and it is going to be an election tender. The highest bidder will win” saying on the Abusua FM in Kumasi.
According to him, his party has not been able to gain power because of lack of funds available to them unlike these major parties in the country who have been able to gather enough money from the government.
Meanwhile, he claims that the two major parties in the country are practising moneyocracy which is the only thing that is preventing his party from capturing power.
