Ghanaian striker Hafiz Konkoni has set sights on playing for either Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak as aim to accomplish his dream in the Ghana Premier League.
Konkoni currently plies his trade for Tanzanian giants, Young Africans after sealing a move at the conclusion of last season from Bechem United, following an outstanding performance in the Ghana Premier League that earned him a call-up to the senior national soccer team, the Black Stars.
Speaking to Koforidua-based Bryt FM, Konkoni expressed admiration for both Kotoko and Kotoko, saying he will feature for one of those teams in order to accomplish his aim in the Ghana Premier League.
“It will be difficult for me to return to Ghana at the moment but I have an unfinished business in the Ghana Premier League, which I would love to accomplish one day”
“My dream is to play for one of the biggest clubs in Ghana (Kotoko and Hearts of Oak) and I want to fulfil that dream. I’m still praying about it, if I get the opportunity to return to Ghana, I will play one of those teams. Isha Allah, I will return to the Ghana Premier League again to accomplish my aim” he said.
Hafiz Konkoni was a top transfer target for both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in the last transfer window but the Tanzanian giants outbid them to secure his signature.
