Former Hearts of Oak striker, Selasie Bakai will feature for Zambian outfit, Kabwe Warriors after signing a two-year-deal with the club ahead of the 2020/2021 season.
The former Ghana U-20 star becomes the first signing for the club in the ongoing transfer window.
After securing the services of the Ghanaian forward, Kabwe Warriors Chairman Hayden Dingwall expressed joy and has promised to augment their squad with more quality signing before the new season starts.
“We are happy with our new signing Bless. We are also glad our team is relatively intact from last year. So we are basically signing to strengthen the team,” Mr Dingwall said.
“I am sure we will perform much better this coming season. We performed well last season, but unfortunately, the Covid-19 stopped the League but I am sure we could have finished in a much higher place.”
Bakai was released by Hearts of Oak ahead of the 2019/20 season.
