Information reaching the news desk indicates that the former NDC parliamentary candidate in the 2020 elections in the Naton constituency, Dr Yakubu Salifu has bowed out of the upcoming parliamentary primaries.
According to him, during an exclusive interview with radio Tamale on Monday, January 9, he is not going to contest the parliamentary primaries leading to the 2024 elections.
“Leave the stage when the applaud is loud. I am not going to contest the upcoming parliamentary primaries. But I am ready and available to support whoever emerges winner”, he told the journalisy.
