Medical Doctors are suspecting foul play in the alleged suicide case involving a 10-year-old girl at Kwahu Nteso near Kwahu Tafo in the Kwahu East District of the Eastern Region
Though details of Autopsy report released Thursday, May 21, 2020, have not been made public, Doctors want Police to conduct further investigations.
The body has however been released to the family for burial.
The deceased, Ocansey Zepola, popularly known as Ama Sakaa a pupil of Kwahu Tafo SDA Basic School allegedly hanged herself with a headscarf tied to a wooden hanger a room in the house.
The incident occurred Tuesday May 19, 2020 around 5:50pm.
Grandmother of the deceased told Bryt FM News, the deceased was asked to hawk some food items on behalf of her sick mother but complained of not feeling well hence could not go.
She said, the late Zepola went to bath after which she went into her room.
According to the Grandmother, the mother of the girl noticing her conspicuous absence in the house after some hours went in search for her only to find her hanging dead in the room.
She said Police were informed and after taken inventories conveyed the body to Atibie Government Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
