Hour of Grace Orphanage Home at Huhunya in the Yilo Krobo municipality of the Eastern region on Friday, December 30, 2022 received donation from the Founder and Leader of Precious Anointing Ministry International.
The Church located at Old Estate in Koforidua, the Eastern Regional capital took the initiative as part of the celebrations of the Christmas festivities.
Items donated includes; second hand clothes, soaps, toothpastes, dettol, toilet rolls, soft drinks, biscuits and many others with undisclosed sum of money.
Founder and Head Pastor of the church, Rev. Joseph Afrifa (Awurade Akoa) in a brief statement emphasised the donation forms part of God’s work to put smile of the faces of orphans at the home.
He added the decision is based on Psalm 41:1-2 (KJV) that reads “Blessed is he that consider the poor, the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou will not deliver him unto the will of his enemies”.
Meanwhile, management of the Orphanage home were grateful to the Man of God for the kind gesture and indicated the donation would go a long way to make the children happy in this yuletide.
They also called on other cooperate bodies, institutions and individuals to come to the aid of the home to enable them take good care of the children in their care.
