Ghana international defender Rashid Sumaila has completed a move to Saham Club in the Omani Professional League.
The 28-year-old signed a one-year deal with the club with an option to extend.
The towering guardsman joins the club as a free agent after leaving Kuwaiti side Al Qadsia last year after the expiration of his contract.
Sumaila started his career at Ebusua Dwarfs and played for Asante Kotoko before moving abroad.
He has spent the past six years of his career playing in South Africa, Kuwait, Qatar and Serbia and will now continue his trade in Oman.
He moved to Kuwait in July 2015 from South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns after spending just a season.
During his stint at Qadsia, Sumaila enjoyed loan spells at Qatari club Al-Gharafa SC and Red Star Belgrade in Serbia.
The former Asante Kotoko SC defender has 10 caps for the Ghana national team since making his debut in September 2012.
