The French Football Federation president, Noel Le Graet confirms that the federation sent an official complaint over Martinez’s conduct.
Martinez was seen telling teammates to have a moment of silence for Mbappe while Argentina celebrated their FIFA World Cup triumph.
During the parade, he was pictured with a toy in his hands as ‘Baby Mbappe’.
“I wrote to my counterpart from the Argentine Federation, I find these excesses abnormal, in the context of a sports competition, and I find it difficult to understand. This is going too far. Mbappé’s behavior has been exemplary” the statement added.
