The Ghana Export Promotion Centre has been engaging Ghana’s Ambassador to Brazil, H. E Abena Busia, to discuss effective ways of engaging the African diaspora population in Brazil ahead of the Diaspora Connect Roadshow in the Americas set for 2023.
With an estimated 65 million and 120 million Brazilians being of African origin, the nation is believed to have the greatest African diaspora community in the Americas.
Representing the GIPC, Marina Lamptey, Head of the Diaspora Investment Desk, together with the Ambassador, discussed investment opportunities in Ghana for the Brazilian diasporas as well as how the embassy can assist and facilitate such diaspora investments to Ghana.
