Dr Eric Nkansah, Director-General of the Ghana Education Service participated in a Professional Learning Community (PLC) session at Arch Bishop Potter Girls’ Senior High School on Wednesday 4th October, 2023.
The weekly PLC sessions provide a platform for teachers across all Senior High Schools (SHSs) and Senior High Technical Schools (SHTSs) to share best practices to improve teaching and learning.
The PLC sessions help to strengthen teachers’ understanding and adherence to the National Teachers’ Standards (NTS).
He enjoyed the PLC session and I commended the leadership of the school and staff for their full participation in the weekly PLC sessions.
Also present was Mr Stephen Kwaku Owusu, Deputy Director-General Management Service; Mr Prince Charles Agyeman Duah, the Director in charge of Schools and Instructions; Mr. Robin Todd, the Executive Director of T-TEL; Mrs Felicia Agyeibea Okai, the Regional Director of Education; and other dignitaries.
