Hon Inkoom further explained the circumstances that have led to the construction of the classroom project and the source of funding to Bryt FM News.
“The Assembly cannot do everything to grow the community when it comes to financing so we cooperate with stakeholders including Coastal Development Authority (CoDA) and through their support we have been able to get classroom blocks for our children,” he said.
He also charged parents not to use all their money for clothes but to provide their kids with the basic needs to enable them to have the desire to learn to exceed their goals.
Omankrado of the Gomoa Akropong No.1 community, Nana Obofo Andam on his part commended the DCE and government for the school project.
He added that the community could not boast of toilet facilities, teacher’s quarters, good health care delivery systems, and other social amenities.
