President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Okraku reaffirmed the FA’s commitment towards bringing back lost glory.
His comment comes following the Black Stars calamitous performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ghana failed to glitter at the AFCON in Ivory Coast after bowing out at group stage. The Black Stars drew two games and suffered a defeat against, finishing in third place in Group B, behind Cape Verde and Egypt.
At a press conference in Kumasi, Kurt Okraku asserted the FA is committed towards bringing back lost glory.
“The FA is very much committed towards bringing back our lost glory” he said.
“Bringing back the passion of our people and bringing back the love for our beloved sports (Football) but this can only happen if all our publics stand shoulder to shoulder with us, in good times and in bad times. In bad times, we have to be ready and we are ready to listen to the other minds that’s to allow people to speak out and to offer to us the needed support within as servant of our game. The Exco will not depart from this commitment to work day and night in our terms to fixing our football” he added.
