A strong FIFA delegation led by Director of Member Associations for Africa at FIFA Gelson Fernandes has arrived in Tamale ahead of the Elective Congress.
Delegates go on polls on Thursday, October 5 to elect new leadership of the Ghana Football Association.
Ahead of the elections, a delegation from FIFA have arrived in Tamale, where the congress will be held.
The FIFA delegation initially arrived in Accra before they proceeded to Tamale on Wednesday morning.
Other members of the delegation include, Silmara Sousa, Development Program Coordinator at FIFA Member Associations Africa, and Ahmed Harraz, Senior Manager of FIFA Member Associations Governance Services.
Meanwhile, the Regional Football Association elections has been scheduled for Friday, October, 6, 2023.
