The Ghana Football Association has sent a congratulatory message to Michael Essien after acquiring UEFA A Coaching License.
The former Chelsea star who secured his License B certificate two years ago has successfully bagged his UEFA A License.
The former Black Stars midfielder took to social media to express his joy after completing his License A coaching course.
In his post on Twitter, Essien extended his appreciation to FC Nordsjaelland and Right to Dream Academy for their support over the last couple of years.
“Step by step, I am learning and growing as a coach. Happy to have completed my UEFA A and UEFA Elite Youth A license. Thanks to the family, @fawales, my tutors, my mentor and RTD/FCN for the support. And big thank you to Tom Vernon and Flemming Pedersen,” a statement from Michael Essien on Twitter said.
The Ghana FA reacting to Essien’s achievement congratulated the former Real Madrid and AC Milan star.
“Congratulations Essien” the FA tweeted while commenting on Essien’s new feat.
