Astute football administrator, Mr Kudjoe Fianoo has retained his seat as the Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association after defeating Policeman Isaac Wilberforce Koomson.
Fianoo, a former Chief Executive Officer of Ashantigold beat off competition from fierce rival Isaac Koomson in the elections held on Thursday morning at the Accra Sports Stadium.
He pulled a total of 71 votes to beat his sole competitor who got 41 votes.
Before the elections, many had touted Isaac Koomson to unseat the experienced Fianoo but the dream fell into cold waters as Fianoo retained his seat.
Fianoo gets the nod to lead the Football clubs welfare body for another 4 years.
He will work with John Ansah as his Vice Chairman whiles Linda Ansong becomes the Treasurer.
