Ghana’s Ambassador to France, H.E. Mavis Ama Frimpong, has assured the government’s readiness to welcome and support investors willing to do business in Ghana, particularly members of the Ghanaian diaspora in France.
According to her, she is in France with a clear mandate to partner investors and help translate viable ideas into impactful investments back home.
“What I want to tell you is that I am not here by mistake. I am here to partner you to work together to impact our country, Ghana,” she stated.
H.E. Mavis Ama Frimpong revealed that over the past three months, she has opened her doors to receive business ideas and proposals from potential investors who are willing to return home to invest.
She encouraged Ghanaians in France who already have investment partners to present their business proposals, assuring them of guidance through the necessary government processes to enable them begin operations in Ghana.
“Those who have investment partners should come and make presentations of their business proposals so we can lead you to government and take you through the necessary processes to begin work,” she added.
She urged the Ghanaian community in France to make their presence strongly felt both in France and back home through meaningful investments that will create opportunities for the youth.
H.E. Mavis Ama Frimpong was speaking on Sunday when she joined members of The Church of Pentecost in France to climax the 2025 Christmas Convention.
She also shared a personal reflection on her appointment, describing it as divine.
According to her, although she was expecting an appointment to a ministry in Ghana, her posting to France as Ambassador has proven to be a divine assignment.
She recounted that two years ago, during a Missions Week celebration by The Church of Pentecost in Ghana—of which she is a proud member—she randomly chose the France branch of the church as a mission field to support.
“Little did I know it was a divine preparation for a revered task,” she said.
The Ambassador reaffirmed her commitment to working closely with the Ghanaian community in France and assured them that her office remains open to investors who are ready to contribute to Ghana’s development.
