The Republic of Ghana and the Republic of Seychelles strengthened their bilateral relations with a series of activities to mark the official visit to Ghana by the President of the Republic of Seychelles, H. E. Wavel Ramkalawan,.
Notable amongst them was the signing of four Memoranda of Understanding (MoU). On Monday, 25th November, 2024, a Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in the field of STEM, Research, Training and Skills Development were signed.
During the signing ceremony, the Chief Directors of the Ministries of Transport and Education, Mrs. Mabel Sagoe, and Mrs. Mamle D. Andrews, signed the Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA), and the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Cooperation in the field of STEM, Research, Training and Skills Development on behalf of the Government of Ghana respectively.
His Excellency Mr. Conrad Mederic, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Seychelles to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the African Union (AU) and the United Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), signed both Agreements on behalf of the Government of Seychelles.
The other MoUs signed during the official visit of H. E. Wavel Ramkalawan to Ghana, were, Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) in the areas of Culture and Tourism Development signed on Thursday, 21st November, 2024.
