Despite seeing the Brazilian national team as a mighty one in terms of World football, Ghanaians are optimistic the Black Stars will trash them in tomorrow’s friendly game.
The Ghana Black Stars will meet their Brazilian counterpart in France on Friday, September 22, 2022, ahead of the upcoming World Cup tournament to be hosted in Qatar in November 2022.
The team is also expected to take on their counterparts from Nicaragua a few days after the Brazil encounter.
The selected games form part of preparations for the tournament in ensuring the Ghana men perform well in this year’s games.
Speaking to a cross-section of the public in Koforidua ahead of the match, some football fans were optimistic the current crop of players can surprise the Brazilian team as they are of good quality and of high spirit.
They urged the team as well as the management board to put in good preparations and ensure that all necessary arrangements are well taken care of before the commencement of the tournament.
“The Black stars should try and break the autonomy of Brazil’s power on our football performance this time round. We cannot afford to lose to Brazil again because our team is now full of energetic and good players” some fans reacted.
Some stressed that “The coach needs to do the best selection and I tell you that Ghana can win the game simple. Ghana’s current team has good and better players than the Brazilian side so the coach must capitalise on that”.
