Ghana captain Andre Ayew has expressed his joy after returning from injury to feature for Nottingham Forest.
Ayew picked up an injury during the international break last month. He did not play a part in the first leg against Angola in Kumasi and subsequently missed out in the reverse fixture.
Upon return to his club, Ayew could not feature in Nottingham Forest last weekend.
But on Tuesday, he made substitute appearance as his outfit suffered a 2-1 defeat against Leeds United.
“Difficult result today. We will not give up, we will keep going👊🏽 thanks to the travelling fans 🤲🏽 good to be back on the pitch,” he wrote on Instagram.
Since his transfer in January, the 33-year-old has made eight appearances for Forest.
