The Ghana Catholic Bishops Conference has Elected and appointed new leaders to head its key Departments at the National Catholic Secretariat.
At the end of the Annual Plenary Assembly at Donkorkrom vicariate on the theme “A synodal church: communion, participation, and mission in the context of the new evangelization”, the Bishops Conference Elected Most Reverend Matthew Kwasi Gyamfi, Bishop of the Sunyani Diocese as new President of Ghana’s Catholic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC).

Most Reverend Emmanuel Kofi Fianu (SVD) was elected as Vice President, whiles Most Rev. Gabriel Edoe Kumordji (SVD) headed Finance Department.
Administrative Board (Provencial Representatives) are Most Rev. Charles G.Palmer- Buckle – Cape Coast Province, Most Rev. Peter Atuahene – Kumasi Province, Most Rev.Bishop Afrifa – Agyekum – Accra Province and Most Rev. Matthew Yitiereh – Tamale Province.
