Ghana international Alidu made his return from injury for Clermont Foot on Saturday in their win over AC Ajaccio in the French Ligue 1
The defender was out of action for a month after undergoing a knee surgery in February this year.
But on Saturday, the Black Stars marksman returned to the pitch to help his outfit defeat Ajaccio 2-1.
The versatile player was handed a starting role and lasted 80 minutes as his outfit cruised to a 2-1 home win.
Ajaccio shot into the lead through Mounaim El Idrissy after 24 minutes into the clash at the Stade Gabriel Montpied and went to recess with a one goal lead.
Seidu’s compatriot, Grejohn Kyei scored a brace from the spot to hand Clermont Foot victory.
The defender missed the Black Stars doubleheader AFCON 2023 qualifier against Angola last month.
