Ghanaian defender Ebenezer Annan has been sidelined ahead of the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying games next month.
Annan, who recently switched from Red Star Belgrade to Saint Etienne has sustained an injury, ruling him out of the crucial Wourld Cup qualifying matches.
The 23-year-old is expected to be out of action for the next three weeks due to the setback.
His absence comes as a huge blow to Ghana as the team gear up for the much-anticipated games in September.
Ghana will travel to face Chad on September 4 before hosting Mali on September 8 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
