Ghana and Kayserispor defender Joseph Attamah Larweh has been ruled out of the first half of the Turkish Super Lig season due to injury.
The versatile player has been excluded from the squad due to an injury which will keep him on the sidelines for several months.
Kayserispor has confirmed the player will not take part in first team activities for the first half of the campaign.
This means Attamah Larweh will miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar since he will not be involved in any game before the tournament commences.
“Information Our professional football player Joseph Attamah was not included in the registration list of the Turkish Football Federation due to his injury. Accordingly, Attamah will not be able to take part in Super League matches during the first half of the season. Yukatel Kayserispor Club,” wrote the club on Twitter.
Attamah Larweh has been struggling with injuries since the start of the new season and has not made any appearance this season.
He joined the team for pre-season in July but suffered a setback while preparing for the new campaign.
Last season, he featured in 37 matches, scoring two goals and providing 1 assist.
