Premier League side Crystal Palace have set sight on securing the signature of Ghana international Mohammed Salisu this summer.
Salisu, who has struggled for regular playing time at Monaco is considering a move away from the club in the current window, with Palace expressing firm interest.
The Eagles are seeking to sign Salisu on loan with a guaranteed playing time at the club. Salisu joined Monaco from Southampton in 2023, but has pin down a regular spot in the team.
Salisu struggled in his first season at Monaco due to injury setbacks, and despite starring in his second season, he eventually became a backup option.
Palace intends to offer Salisu a lifeline, contacting Monaco for the loan acquisition of the Ghanaian defender.
The Ghanaian defender has made 37 appearances for Monaco in total, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
However, his last start came in February 2025, and the recent arrival of England defender Eric Dier has further limited his chances.
Salisu, who previously played for Real Valladolid and Southampton, is still under contract with Monaco until 2028.
