Ghana international Mohammed Salisu has returned to Monaco training days after departing Black Stars camp amid fitness concerns.
The 26-year-old centre-back missed the Black Stars friendly against South Korea, where the West African giants succumbed to a 1-0 defeat on Tuesday.
As reported by the Ghana and Monaco, Salisu had suffered a bilateral medial collateral ligament sprain (knee), prompting his early released from Black Stars camp.
Amid injury concerns, the defender has swiftly returned to training at Monaco, coming a huge boost for the club ahead of their game against Stade Rennes.
Having returned to training, the rock-solid defender could feature in the much-anticipated clash between Monaco and Rennes.
The 26-year-old defender has regain his starting spot at Monaco, having started in the last seven games for the French outfit this season.
This season, the defender has made seven appearances in the French Ligue 1, scoring one goal in the process.
