Ghana international Mohammed Salisu will in the coming days debut for French Ligue 1 outfit, AS Monaco.
The Black Stars defender debut for Monaco has delayed due to an injury setback. Salisu has not played competitive football since March 2023.
The highly-rated defender sealed a move from Southampton to Monaco in the summer transfer window despite carrying an injury.
Salis joined group training this week at Monaco as he nears full fitness and according to General Director, Thiago Scuro, Salisu should be fully cleared for action in a fortnight time.
“We hope to see him in the group by the next two or three weeks to start getting minutes,” he told RMC Sport.
He will still not be available for the Black Stars in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros this month.
