Ghana Digital Centers Ltd has successfully trained 21,316 youth across various digital programs at the Centre.
This achievement has been made possible through strategic partnerships with esteemed organizations such as the National Youth Authority (NYA), mlab, ihub, the Rockefeller Foundation, and other stakeholders.
This was announced by Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, Minister for Communications and Digitalisation for the Republic of Ghana during press briefing in Accra.
She added that the government is embarking on a significant initiative to replicate the successful Accra Digital Centre model in key regional hubs across Ghana.
This seeks to decentralize digital innovation efforts, ensuring that all regions have access to the necessary resources and support to thrive in the digital age.
Mrs Ekuful said the Ghana Tech Lab programs have equipped participants with a diverse range of digital skills, spanning robotics, business development, graphic design, social media management, accounting, artificial intelligence, mobile app development, creative writing, videography, virtual reality, gaming, animation, photography, sound engineering, programming, 3D printing, web development, etc.
