Ghanaian international Kwame Peprah is in contention for the Young Player of the Season award in the South African Premier League.
Peprah, who joined Orlando Pirates from King Faisal at the end of last season has been outstanding in the ongoing campaign.
He has scored 5 goals in 21 matches for the Buccaneers who have made it to the CAF Confederation Cup final.
In the Confederations Cup, has scored 2 goals and provided one assist in 10 appearances.
He outstanding performance did not go unnoticed as he has been nominated for the Young Player of the Season award in South Africa.
Peprah will have to beat competition from Athenkosi Mcaba of Stellenbosch FC and SuperSport United star Luke Fluers before he can land the coveted award.
The former King Faisal marksman is expected to lead the line when Orlando Pirates take on RS Berkane in the final of the Confederations Cup on Friday in Nigeria.
