Veteran Ghanaian actor, Kofi Adu famed as Agya Koo has advised parents to protect their kids as he believes the country is no longer safe.
According to him, the insecurity in the country has gotten out of hand, hence, parents who have the financial capacity and feel their children are insecure in Ghana must, as a matter of urgency, fly them out of Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with a Kumasi-based radio station, he made this comment.
Agya Koo, therefore, emphasized that the veteran actor warned that Ghana’s safety is compromised, adding that the widespread killings and insecurity is giving parents sleepless nights and discomfort.
“Currently, most parents in this country are not comfortable even when their kids go out to play because they fear something might happen to their children. For me, if you are a parent and you have what it takes, send your children to America or other safer countries. The killing and kidnapping are too much in this country,” – he lamented.
Agya Koo played an instrumental role in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in both the 2016 and 2020 general elections.
